Valyn Thai Restaurant and Bar is a waterfront dining destination at Capri on Via Roma, Isle of Capri. The restaurant is the latest venture from the team behind Chong Co, Nahm Thai, and Nahm Talay, three of the Gold Coast’s most established Thai venues. Here, their decades of experience come together in their most refined setting yet.

The dining room makes an impression. Dramatic chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the waterway, and a thoughtfully designed fit-out create a space that feels luxurious without being stiff. It works equally well for a weekday lunch, a Friday night dinner, or a private celebration.

The Menu: Signatures and Classics Thai Dishes

The menu balances signature dishes with Thai classics, all executed with care. Start with Miang Kham Betel Leaf Wraps, Fresh Oysters with housemade dressing, or Asian-Style Kingfish Ceviche. From there, the classics hold their own: Tom Yum Soup, Slow-Cooked Beef Cheek Massaman Curry, and a Pad Thai that needs no introduction.

A selection of Asian-inspired cocktails is available to complement every dish. Each drink is developed to move with the meal, not just sit alongside it.

Bookings and Hours

Valyn is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Bookings are recommended, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.

  • Lunch: Monday to Sunday, 11:30am to 3:30pm
  • Dinner: Monday to Thursday, 5:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Dinner: Friday and Saturday, 5:00pm to 10:00pm
