The Story Behind the Kitchen
The Manolas family immigrated to Australia without knowing a soul or speaking any English. Like many European immigrants, their parents worked long hours with two jobs each, and on Sundays, their mother would make a feast and invite the neighbours to join for a very long lunch, to connect, laugh, and celebrate the simple joys of life.
That Sunday table is what Manolas Deli Bar Bistro has been recreating every day since. Mum Angela and Dad Jack can still be found in the kitchen or on the shop floor, chatting to long-time loyal and new customers alike.
The Menu
Manolas serves authentic Mediterranean dishes anchored by their famous woodfire pizza, complemented by an extensive wine and cocktail list. The menu rotates with the seasons — they go to the markets directly to hand-pick the freshest local produce, and cooking with the seasons is central to what makes the food special.
